Musici Ireland Named County Finalists in the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2025

We’re thrilled to share that Musici Ireland has been recognised as a County Finalist in the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2025 under the Arts & Culture category.

This year’s awards saw hundreds of applications from organisations doing truly extraordinary work in communities across Ireland. To be chosen as one of 146 County Finalists is an achievement we’re proud of, even though we didn’t make it to the next stage of judging. For us, this recognition celebrates the heart of what we do – creating space for connection, creativity, and collaboration through music.

The National Lottery’s Good Causes Awards highlight the impact of arts, culture, and community initiatives all over the country. Since 1987, National Lottery players have raised over €6.5 billion for projects like ours, supporting artists, volunteers, and organisations that bring meaningful change to people’s lives.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our artists, collaborators, and audiences who are part of the Musici Ireland story. Your continued support fuels everything we do, and this achievement is as much yours as it is ours.

Although we didn’t progress to the next round, being recognised among so many inspiring organisations is a moment worth celebrating. Here’s to the power of art, creativity, and community.

Behind the Scenes – What’s Next?

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Over the past couple of years, we’ve been growing, taking creative risks, and building projects that shine a light on important stories – from unseen disabilities to mother and baby homes. Being named a County Finalist gives us a boost of encouragement to keep going, keep creating, and keep challenging ourselves.

Right now, our focus is on Chronically Hopeful ,a bold new interdisciplinary work premiering later this year, as well as our upcoming concerts and collaborations. There’s a lot in motion, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.
