Niamh Molloy

CELLO

Niamh Molloy studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music with eminent cellists Nora Gilleece, Bill Butt and Melissa Phelps.

Niamh is a former member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed all over the world with many celebrated musicians, from Pinchas Zukerman and Placido Domingo to Shirley Bassey, Radiohead and Pete Townsend.

She is also a keen chamber musician, creative workshop leader and baker of cakes.

She plays a James and Henry Banks cello, made in 1802.
